Exposing young people to their talents and surrounding them with mentors unlocks potential and reshapes destinies
For many years, talent development has not received the attention it deserves, especially in rural areas. This is due to factors such as lack of exposure, inadequate facilities (sports venues, music equipment, art materials, books, computers, etc.), and limited volunteer support.
At LiMA, we hold youth camps during every school break to focus on talent development. We partner with talented men and women in the community who mentor and train students in various areas. We also use this opportunity to provide training and spread the word of God through these initiatives.
Through partnerships with our friends, we have successfully organized several sports activities, which have allowed us to reach many young men and positively change their lives. Every December, LiMA hosts football tournaments that bring together youth and the wider community. This initiative has been instrumental in reducing insecurity and drug use among the youths,
