Light Mission Africa Training Center
When people are equipped with skills and knowledge, communities move from dependence to dignity.
We believe that transforming a community starts with individuals, achieved through education and challenging traditional ways of thinking. This is especially important in areas where infrastructure and income are limited. The LiMA Learning Center was established to provide learning materials and resources for community development. It offers a conducive environment with electricity and books, and our goal is to further equip it with computers, internet access, and conference facilities.
Over the past year, the Center has become an invaluable resource to both the community and local schools, surpassing our expectations. It has become a hub for primary and secondary school students to complete their homework, revise, and engage in discussions.
Community Library
Our learning center is equipped with materials for high school students, providing a focused and supportive environment for studying and academic growth. In addition, we stock Bibles and other Christian books to help strengthen their faith and support their spiritual development.
Bible Study
At our learning center, we hold weekly community Bible study sessions, which began in 2021 with just four ladies. Today, our group has grown to 178 members, including men who believe in Christ. We welcome both literate and illiterate individuals, offering audio Bibles for those who cannot read, so everyone can participate in deepening their faith.
Training & Mentorship
Our learning center hosts training and mentorship sessions tailored for the community, students, and various religious groups, providing an effective space with minimal distractions. The facility is always available for students and the community, and we offer a variety of activities, especially during school breaks.
Light mission Africa is a community-based organization whose main focus is rural community empowerment.
