Light Mission Africa (LiMA) is a faith-based organization dedicated to spreading the gospel of Christ and nurturing spiritual growth. We are passionate about instilling a Bible-reading culture in schools to counter spiritually unhealthy activities, such as drug use, alcohol abuse, and early sexual activity, which often stem from a lack of spiritual guidance. Many students cannot afford their own Bibles, so LiMA provides them with Bibles to encourage their faith and spiritual development.
In addition, we host a weekly fellowship every Thursday at the LiMA Learning Center for Bible study, offering a chance to win souls for Christ and strengthen people spiritually. Our pastoral training program is another important initiative, aimed at equipping local pastors with a deeper understanding of the Word of God. Many pastors in our community lack formal biblical education, so we train them to lead with confidence and knowledge. This training brings together pastors from different denominations to build unity in spreading the gospel.
A guiding verse for our efforts is 2 Timothy 2:15: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” Through our training and Bible study programs, we aim to help both students and pastors grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and lead lives that reflect Christ’s teachings.
Light mission Africa is a community-based organization whose main focus is rural community empowerment.
